Hard to believe, but the end of the school year is just around the corner. (Sorry for the tired cliché☺.)
This is a special year for me as I will be traveling to Hawaii on May 27 for the first wedding in our family - my daughter is marrying a lovely young man on May 31st on the beach! Of course, this means that I will be away from
St. Matthew for a week.
I wanted to get out information about the end of the school year procedures and policies so that students and parents are not caught off-guard. The following outlines the important library information
Friday, May 22 – last day to check out library materials
Friday, May 30 – all library materials are due!
Tuesday, May 27 – Mrs. Landowski substitutes / grades 1, 2, 3, 5 and 8 have library period.
Wednesday, May 28 – Lake City Librarian, Nancy Pew, visits and presents Summer Reading Program to grades K-5
Thursday, May 28 – Mrs. Landowski substitutes / grades PreK, K, 4, 6, 7
June 3 – June 11 – library closed for processing books and organizing shelves.
Any outstanding library materials that are not returned by June 11 must be paid for with a check to St. Matthew School. Report cards will be held until the lost book fee is paid.
