GiveBIG on May 6!
The Seattle Foundation's GiveBig is a one day, online challenge that inspires people to give to Seattle area non-profits to create a stronger community for all. For each gift made to St. Matthew School on Tuesday, May 6 (between midnight and midnight), we will receive a portion of the GiveBig "stretch pool." For more information, visit the Seattle Foundation website.

Rainbow Heritage Festival - Saturday, May 17 1 pm to 4:30 pm
The Rainbow Heritage Festival is a celebration of the many cultures that make up our community. We celebrate with food, entertainment, crafts and costumes.

If you would like to prepare a catering-size pan of food for our delicious international buffet, please contact Rachel de Castro at rdecastro@mac.com.
School families are asked to provide baked goods for our baked goods table. Baked goods donations can be dropped off at school on Friday, May 16. The class with the highest percentage participation wins a popsicle party.
Any students wearing a costume to the festival will receive a free dress pass. The costume can be from any country, but must include at least two articles of clothing or a dress.
If you would like to create a Heritage Display for your favorite country, please contact spretti@stmatthewseattle.com.
Lumpia-rolling Party - Friday, May 2 - 3 to 6 pm
Please join us in the Community Center to roll tasty little spring rolls that will be sold at the Rainbow Heritage Festival. No prior rolling experience required, but grown-ups only, please. Please contact Paula Newcomer to volunteer for this or the festival (pnewc2003@yahoo.com
